We usually start our horses late in their second year (depending on their size and level of maturity). With the current demand for gentle, well-trained, well-gaited horses, many are spoken for before they have finished training. (click thumbnail images for larger/additional pictures of the horses)
Five Year olds
Living Legacy (legs)
Living Legacy (Legs) is a five year old gelding, son of Tim's Choco and
Northern Samantha. His pedigree includes Dock, Sewell's Sam and Tobe.
Legs is 14.3hh, chestnut gelding with strawberry blonde mane and tail.
He's one of many of Tim and Sam's babies that we've started under saddle.
This family is smart, sensible and well-gaited. We sold Legs as a two
year old to a family that already owned his older brother Kisses and he's
been there ever since. Unfortunately his owner now has to give up her
farm and horses due to health issues and we are offering Legs for sale.

Sand Piper is our great demonstrator and is not currently for sale
Sand Piper is a buckskin daughter of Tim's Choco and Northern Snowflake. She's over 15hh at 4 years old. Piper is going well under saddle and has been out on the trails and roads all last summer. She's had cars and large trucks pass her on the roads and she takes it all in stride. She's probably one of the quietest, most sensible horses on the farm. She's been ridden alone and in groups and by a rider that's only been riding since spring 2007.
Three Year olds
Spark in the Dark
Sparky is a buckskin colt out of Northern Snowflake by Tim's Choco. This boy is well put together and tall and leggy. Curious and friendly, he gaits naturally in the field.
Hotshot
Cute chestnut with flashy white socks. I've had great success with his older brothers and sisters and can provide lots of video and references.
Minx
Minx is a black filly from Sable and J.B. Roe. This little filly sure suits her name. She's always poking her nose into whatever you're doing and rustling around trying to get your attention. She's extra friendly and gaits naturally in the field.
Sam D
This wonderful black gelding has some of my favourite bloodlines. As a son of J.B. and Raven Princess (daughter of Ebony and Tim's Choco), he's a good-looking boy with a star and a snip. He was born late in the year, but he's showing lots of independence and an easy-going attitude.
Two Year olds
Firecracker Flash
Firecracker Flash - Flash is surely a flashy boy. Like his mom, Sparkle he has a big, wide blaze that compliments his chocolate colour. Sparkle is my favourite horse and Flash has a special place in my heart too. I've started lots of members of this family and they're all brave on the trail, sensible to work with, they remember what they're taught and they're well gaited to boot. Flash will be no exception. Lots of video available of family members if you'd like to see. Will be registered as a Rocky Mountain gelding and can be registered with the KMSHA.
Randy
Randy is a chestnut gelding with flaxen mane and tail. We’ve started lots of this fabulous family under saddle. All grow up to be very easy keepers, great family horses and very smooth. Randy is started and will soon be out on the trails. He’s just been so easy to work with, we just got on and started to ride!
Bling!
Bling is the niece of the well-known stallion Doc Holiday and a granddaughter of Clemon's Tim. This chocolate filly has her mother's style and presence and her father's sensible temperament that make his babies the best on the trails. I've started many of Bling's siblings under saddle and they are great trail mounts with a little bit of flash and sparkle. With bloodlines like these Bling is the epitome of the old-style Rocky Mountain horse and would make a wonderful broodmare. Margaret
Margaret - quiet and friendly black filly out of Northern Samantha and by Tim's Choco. Mother Samantha was the easiest horse that I have ever put under saddle and her foals have all been just as good. The gait from this family is phenomenal and natural in every way. This filly is the first to come up and visit in the field. She could be your next friend for life! What are you doing for the next 30 years?
Hawkeye
Hawkeye - black colt by Tim's Choco and out of Breeze a granddaughter of Sewell's Sam and Tom's Pride. With bloodlines like these he could be a wonderful stallion prospect, but he'll also make a great riding gelding. This colt gaits naturally in the field with his mom. Stocky with great conformation.

Colt is a chocolate flaxen son of J.B. Roe and a grandson of Tim's Choco. He's coming two this year and we'll start working on putting him under saddle in the spring.
